The city of Las Vegas and the Greenways
Incorporated Team identified individuals, groups and organizations
that would best represent the diverse interests and issues
associated with the Northwest Open Space Plan. Each member shall be
the "eyes and ears" for its constituents. Most
importantly, members should come to each meeting prepared to work
through various problem statements, project objectives and work
tasks that have been identified. In essence, the Steering Committee
is entering into a partnership with the consultants and the city of
Las Vegas to produce an Open Space Plan for the northwest region of
the city.

HIGHLIGHTS
The Northwest Open Space Plan Document is completed and
available for download on this site, or on CD. It is available by mail or it can be
picked-up in person at the City of Las Vegas, DSC building,
located at 731 S. 4th Street, Las Vegas, Nevada, 89101.

On December the 2nd of 2004, the City of Las Vegas Planning
Commission recommended approval. On January 5th of 2005, the
Las Vegas City Council voted approval of the Northwest Open Space
Plan Document.
